Pina Colada

with BONRAW Coconut Blossom Syrup

“BONRAW Coconut Blossom offers incredible flavours and paired perfectly with a Pina Colada.  I used both a 1:1 ratio and 2:1 (sugar: H2O) and it definitely had a better texture with the thicker syrup. I also mixed coconut shavings with the sugar for rimming the glass and it was utterly delicious.” Kat Stanley-Whyte - Mixologist

You will need

60ml good quality rum

60ml pineapple juice

40ml cream of coconut

15ml Bonraw coconut blossom sugar syrup

Method

  1. Blend with crushed ice
  2. Hurricane Glass or Similar
  3. Garnish with Coconut shavings + Coconut sugar mix glass rim, Pineapple leaf + Caramelised pineapple cube.

 

 

About Kat Stanley-Whyte

Kat poured her first cocktail in a backpacker’s nightclub in Melbourne and on her return started working in bars to help pay her way through university.  Following stints at the Basement Bar (Scotland’s largest agave selection cocktail bar) and Signature Pubs where she curated drink menus for the group, she joined her friend and mixologist Sian Buchan to open Edinburgh’s latest late night, live music venue UnoMas with a focus on reinvented classics in March 2020. She’s gone onto win the U.K. slot for the Altos Tahona Society Global Finals in Mexico sometime this year and was the winner of Ocho Tequilas 2021 Take Me To Mexico competition.
